The film laboratories which form part of the Chile Films Group, are the region's largest film and video post production group, with 6 film laboratories in 4 countries.

They aim to offer their clients the highest standards of service and quality, and regularly invest in new equipment and support from the RTI Film Group.

Recently, after extensive testing, Cinecolor opted to install automatic CIR scratch detection systems that were installed on the output end of each of 6 ECNII film processors, one at each lab.

The CIR built automatic scratch inspectors constantly monitor film as it passes a CCD camera based inspection device, which reports any potential defect to the operator.

This automation takes advantage of new technology and allows the Cinecolor Group to stay at the forefront of excellent customer service.
