HFE* Film Cleaning Fluid Use Continues to Grow

The latest model CF9200 ultrasonic film cleaner continues its success, as more users decide to stop using perchloroethylene, the chlorinated liquid that has, in the past, been an industry standard for cleaning.

The pollution and health issues associated with this solvent have been a deciding factor for many Lipsner Smith users to switch to HFE, Hydrofluroether, which has many important safety and environmental attributes.

Nordisk Film Group, Scandinavia’s largest film and video post production group and RTI have had a long and fruitful relationship.

The latest investment by Nordisk Film was to acquire four new Lipsner Smith model CF9200 ultrasonic film cleaners, replacing the older CF8200 models.

Nordisk benefits from the improved cleaning power of the new model, along with significant savings in HFE fluid consumption compared to their earlier models.
