RTI's Film Group is proud to be a major supplier of film laboratory equipment for the prestigious new Library of Congress archive in Culpeper, Virginia.

Scheduled to open during 2007, the facility features state of the art technology and will be one of the world's leading archive and film restoration operations. RTI's BHP subsidiary provided 2 new fully optioned contact printers, with a series of specially designed picture and sound heads for film shrunken up to 2.5%.

Lipsner Smith has recently been awarded a contract to supply two new CF8200 ultrasonic film cleaners, and the Treise subsidiary is completing the last of an extensive supply of film processing machines for color negative and positive film, and for both negative and positive black and white stocks.

In addition, RTI is supplying 6 CPAC silver recovery systems.

Treise also is taking responsibility for the complete installation of the processing laboratory in the new location, and has had our expert team on site since Spring ’07, providing a complete turnkey service.
